What prop to run.

Hull weight : around 85-100 lbs
Rtr weight : appx 300
My weight: around 250
My riding: 50/50 surf and flat
Pump: solas mag
Motor : stock 701for now
Near feature dasa 950


Wondering what prop everyone runs I know I need a big hub but what pitch, if I could do a happy medium between my stock 701 and a 950dasa I'd be happy so I don't have to buy another prop soon, or just a solid recommendation for my 701 and I will sell it when the time comes.


Will buy used so if you have anything lmk

You will not have the same prop with a dasa 950, buy the correct prop now for your 701

My recommendation is a skat C75 12-17 with a 5mm cutback and bore your exit nozzle to 85mm

12/17 big hub swirl is a great prop for a stock to limited motor. You will definitely need to buy a new prop for bigger motor

I had a Solas mag behind my baby scream, ran a 9/15 hooker and should have been on the 10/16.

But since you are only running a limited 701, I've heard good reviews on both 9/15 hooker, and 12/17.
