What pump shoe??

UPDATE:::::: got shoe today and installed. NO grinding. fit beautifully for a superjet shoe. I use marine JB Weld to fill in gaps. the stuff is sandable in a hour. . I will posts picture maybe tomorrow. I totally didn't want to have to grind and I didn't. SWEEEEEET. Now I don't have to worry about busting that cheap plastic OEM one. The hardest part was getting that pump back on with a new rubber gasket thing. I post picture probably tommorrow.

You will notice a sizeable gap between grate and shoe. Doesn't seem as big as worx grate. Also I spoke with Glen from Jet Dynamics. He told me that the Jet Dynamic grate is suppose to hang down from the shoe. It was designed that way. He said don't grind it even with the shoe. You will lose performance. Final install Pics tommorrow.

I used White 3M Marine 5200 Adhesive to install and fill in the seems. It's totally annoying for those I need it done now types like me. Seven days to harden. All I know is I better not ever have to do this again. I won't use this for the ride plate install in case I want to switch. I think this info could be helpful for some. Not a good product to do if you're looking to go riding within seven days.

day late and a dollar short. Also the handling characteristics are crappy. too sticky. here's got too be something that handles better. I've done enough chaulking in my life. Next time, Menards for some adhesive chaulk. Well, I hope there is no next time. LOL

Still need some smoothing where pump shoe meets the hull but getting there. At least you guys can see final fit.

IMG_1484.JPG IMG_1484.JPG No and yes, all superjet pump shoes are shorter as in picture. That said, they are the only aluminum shoes available.. I filled the gaps in the picture with marine putty and sanded. some just leave the gap alone. there are other reccomendations above.. The picture is kinda of blurry but you can still it. As far as i'm concerned The the oem doesn't bold up with serious intake grates like jet dynamics, so this is the only stronger alternative that didn't require grinding to fit.. The jet dynamics version is a superjet one also. It has a history on the forums of being hit or miss and alot have reported storied of hjaving to grind the bottom to make it flush with the hull. I think if I recall right the you might have to drill the hole too. The worx version had none of the B.S. it slid right in to OEM spot. I didn't have to grind anything or drill holes or change holes.. I hope that answers your question so you know what you are getting into..

I did head to head comparison with worx grate. The jet dynamics grate gold better for rough water. Honestly no comparison. I took the worx off and sold it the next day. Those are the only two I’ve rode.

Mine is for a blaster only cause I had it first. If I got it after the show, I would have gotten a super jet one. I ended up cutting mine back a little to fit more like the super jet one.
