What should I do for registration #s?

Got mailbox numbers/letters on my hood from the PO and I am not digging it. Here are a couple ideas I tossed together real quick, the white would just be relief cut into a black piece of vinyl. The top left is my first choice, anybody else have any ideas?

Top left but shrink the numbers up a tad and raise them to get a sliver of black under them.

Not sure where you ride but I've seen people get f'd with having them on the rear of the ski like that. Between being low in the water and splashing visibility almost non-existent when underway.

I ended up putting mine under the bond line in the front of the hull.Been waiting for our Tn wildlife officers to stop and talk to me about it.lt's legal to have them in that spot per registration instructions provided by the state. Check the law in your state

My last couple hulls had the numbers in back, knock on wood, no issues yet.

I think it really depends on where you ride. On Cass lake in MI I would get stopped without cause and had to show extinguisher and USCG rating on my vest in the middle of the lake trying not to drown or sink my ski. (And I lived on the lake and got to know the A-holes by name). In Maryland riding the North East river I've never even seen the slightest sign of authority.

That said, I prefer to not give probable cause for checking me out from reg numbers, something that can be seen with binoculars from a mile away.

I follow the template on the reg sticker and work graphics around it.
