What should I do with it?

I have an old xp that I just acquired recently and I'll be bringing it home to my house soon. Its been sitting for about 2 years but ran fine before it sat. Im not paying a dime for it and the trailer needs a new axle. My question is, what should I do with it? Is there anything on them worth parting out? Should I just sell it as is? I'll try and get some pics and post them as soon as I can.

get it running and keep it. Having a sitdown can be pretty useful. Now if u already have a bunch of ski's then just sell it "as is." Either way, you're going to make some $$.

If it is older than a 95 sell it as is and unload it,the 95 models with the 720 were kinda fun ,the 96 model with the 787 was a lot of fun .The hulls before 95 all handled like crap even though they look they same they are not.One exception here they made a 95 model with a 787 also that one is complete trash and you cannot get parts for it,if it that model defiantly part it out and sell it you would probably make a boatload of cash off of that.

What parts can't you get for the '95 XP800? Complete trash? Geesh, I had no idea, and to think one of my riders just won Nats this year on one.

lol don't worry Paul if it wasn't free it wouldn't be mine. Its actually that piece of crap that you fixed the exhaust on for my father in law a few years ago. You guys must be mistaking this for a nice xp, wait there is no such thing lol. Its old, I'm guessing like 87 or 88. I'm thinking we will get it running and get some good video footage of us trashing it. Unless there is anyone in the Jersey area that wants a super cheap ski.

I got $1500.00 in parts for a 95 XP 787 that I picked up super cheap. The main things that bring in the big money on those are the electrical boxes (one front and one rear) and the VTS trim system actuator if it has that.

Uh, Ron---if your father-in-law used to own it, it certainly wasn't "free." :haha:
