Super Jet What should I upgrade? 92 650

Due to the fact that it continues to snow here when it should be well above freezing. I've got too much time on my hands. I bought a 92 650 earlier this spring. I haven't ridden it yet but now the upgrade illness has come back and I need to spend some money to keep it in check. My ski currently has a full pro-tec pipe and psi header. Other than that it's stock. I will be doing flatwater freestyle and general lake cruising. I have been talking to jetmanic and he thinks a hooker prop would do nicely.(not sure on pitch) I've also been contemplating footholds. Any suggestions on what I should upgrade would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

coffman sizzler pipe only adds 6 hp and no other pipe is any better. take the cylinder off and hog out the exhaust ports. get a stainless prop. go to the gym and become a gorilla, cause its going to be your muscle that throws that ski around, not the HP of the motor.

I'm not looking to bust out a crazy new trick or something. I'd just like a little more jam to jump off that boat wake ect. I'm 30 and i'm at that age where I don't need to push myself anymore. I have a house and a mortgage. I just wanna drink beer and have a lot of fun when I'm at the lake. If I learn a little trick sure but its more fun to cruise upto a boat full of girls start up conversation and have them end up at our campsite that night. :)

jetskiing and chasing ho's is 2 different sports. i get plenty off titty flash appreciation for doing flips n rolls, but who cares. i'd rather do flips n rolls than look at their titties. sounds like you're washed up at 30. glad i'm not that old. leave it stock and get a sick paint job to impress the gold diggers.

9/15 hooker is my suggestion.
I have a 'stout' 650 in my old ladies ski and that prop works great. For a 650 its a blast.

Do the quick steer mod too (free).
Maybe D- cut your ride plate. (Free)
Defintely put some holds in, makes doing basic tricks much easier.

You'll probably be buying a big motor next season, you watch!

I started this shyt 4 years ago with a free dogged out JS440 that was older than I am. Fast forward to today, I have a AM hull on the way, sticking a mag pump in it and JM big bore in it lol. Cant believe how much ive spent...
Oh, btw, quit yer bitchin I have mortgage, wife and two kids an I'm 35 lol!

I'm a little leary on spending the bucks on a foothold kit and doing the install for something I may not like. Something like this that went the whole tray might work better for myself. Really looking into that hooker impeller. Doing my homework on it now. And "SWAPMEET" I use to race YFZ450 quads. I've built 3 17k plus quads I know how the upgrade bug goes. LOL :)

So i'm going to do custom lifter blocks first and see how I like it. I found the perfect pieces of foam that do not absorb water so no cost to me there. Researched them and going to do the stainless wood screws and contact cement mount. Looking for the best price on a hooker prop. now. Going to buy one of those. pm'd you jetmanaic.

I bought a 94 SN with a stock 701 and Riva Red Pipe, thought it was a lil slow, got it ported and it is a whole different ski. I'm 33 and going to start into more tricks this spring myself. Age is a state of mind there fella!

If the mod bug is hitting you, toss a 701 in that hull and build from there.
