Custom/Hybrid what to bond top and bottom together with?

I am splitting the top and bottom deck in a couple weeks on my wdk rev due to it separating almost the whole way around. What can I use to bond the decks back together?

also is there any downside to building a "shelf" above the midshaft for the ebox to sit on? I want to do this because the way the ski is designed it has two bulkheads basically.

All of our decks are bonded with the same resin the parts are made of. We thicken the resin with cabosil and 1/4 chopped strand fibers. Be sure and grind both mating surfaces well with 36 grit ( or something coarse) and clean with acetone before bonding. I am almost 100% positive WDK uses vinylester. Be sure to check compatibility before choosing a resin.

Bulkhead

You could put a front foothold in and remove the inside liner part.
i can git you some pixs of the inside if you wont.

i would use PLEXUS MA425. THIS WILL WORK BEST FOR YOUR SITUATION.

Just curious why? I know it's strong stuff, but wouldn't thickened resin work just as we'll for 1/3 the cost? I know myself and another hull builder use thickened epoxy. Not trying to thread jack or start an argument, just looking for more input on plexus.

I plan on building a Ebox mount over my drive shaft on my X2. I see no harm in the idea. I can't work aluminum so I was just going to use glass.
