What to do with the fire extinguisher

Nuts frozen to the porch?
The button on top of PWC models pops back up when pressed with the safety clip still in... stuck down or stays down it's bad. Or some have gauges..

Sanford has this done on his RN.... with brackets to re-enforce for leverage. Looking to do the same if I find a box cheap. I believe pics are in his build or posted somewhere on here.

EDIT..... here ya go:

I need to find one of those boxes for my 750sx. I think the trays big enough for my feet and the FE. What year SJ is that off of?

got one on mine when i bought it. sits right under the hood lock. ill just leave it there cuz the cops are always all over me for ridin without them.

Just buy an old 650 squarenose in tray bracket setup then mount it high enough you can get your foot under it to act as a front foothold. I did use a strap and just put one bolt through the bulkhead and strapped the extinguisher to the front of the tray with no box to hold it... Worked but looks better with holder.

I have mine mounted in the tray area using the strap & hook from the SN. It works great and serves as a front toe hold if you like to plant one foot forward sometimes like I do. So far it has worked great and stays in place pretty well. The brackets like Sanford used would make it stay put for sure if you plan to use it heavily as a foot / toe hold.

Do you know where there are pictures of his brackets? I am building mine off of the tray so you can get most of your foot under the plastic holder so I want it to be strong.
