What to do with this ride plate?

I have this plate on my RN and was wondering what if anything I should do with it. Its a skegged Ocean Pro, I was thinking of D cutting it at its extended length or cutting it flush with the hull then D cutting. Or just get a stock ride plate.

Any thoughts or suggestions?

A skegged plate is pretty opposite what a "D" cut plate is all about. Kind of counter productive. Save it for racing.

Thought about cutting the skegs off. Id prolly be better off selling it to someone who could use it though.

Any one got a stocker they want to sell?

skegged plates are actually illegal for racing as far as the rules go!!!!!

Save it, find a flat plate. Also, why do you think you need a "D" plate??

Shows what I know, I've never raced.

I still wouldn't try to cut the skegs off. That would be a pain and you stil wouldn't have a flat, "D" cuttable plate that's supposed to flick loose in for tricks.

i have a r&d plate thats is flate and i was going to make it a d cut, ill trade you and cover the shipping. let me know other wise i would like to get that plate off of you:Thinkingof_:

I think this is the right idea. You'd probably get more for that plate selling it then you would have to pay for a stocker. sounds like a win win to me.

It is fun at times, it stays hooked in hard turns and you can real push it. But your right when you go to far there's not much you can do.
