What tools do you bring to the Beach?

So, waiting on some last minute parts and for some local water to thaw and thought of seeing what everyone brings to the beach tool wise? I'd like to get a compact toolbox with only the necessities for the beach but can't seem to narrow anything down? Maybe some veterans can chime in, or maybe they've learned the beach is for riding.... We'll see.

I can't imagine pulling the flywheel at the beach. Maybe if I was at a freeride or something, but just for an everyday ride...

I think I might be getting a larger tool box than I thought. Zip ties are one thing I always seem to forget.

Until your stator goes or loosing a magnet on a msd total loss flywheel

I take two tool bags, one with all the above hand tools and another with a multi meter, fluid film, starting fluid, grease, anti-seize, 1211, Loctite, electrical connectors, heat shrink, zip ties, and lots-o-spark plugs. Then there's the spare parts box with extra electrical parts, starter, bendix, deka etx9, few carb parts, a throttle cable, fuel/water line, duct and electrical tape, and miscellaneous hardware. I usually throw in a hand siphon too if I remember.

I bring as much as I can take. I typically have a back up of every electrical part, gasket, fuel/cooling hoses, hose clamps, zip ties, etc. I didnt use to bring a flywheel puller with me until one day we were doing a show and 5 minutes into practice my ski broke. Thankfully we were at a large motocross event so I went up to the biggest rigs i could find and someone had one! But Xj crawlers list is pretty good place to start. I would add a torque wrench, MultiMeter, small crescent wrench or some open end wrenchs 8mm, 10mm, 12mm, 14, (steering cable and other nuts like carbs, where sometime a crescent wont fit), and make sure a spark plug wrench or socket.

Metric 3/8 and 1/4 socket set
ball end allen head socket set
Cold fusion flywheel lock
Flywheel puller
Screwdrivers
wire cutters
hose cutter/ knife
Torque wrench
Multi Meter
Spark plug wrench
wrenches

you guys must have some crappy skis..(sarcasm) The only thing I need is 2 spare plugs, a small plug wrench and a tow rope. Who goes riding without a dialed ski?

The beach is the last place i want to work on my ski. Unless its some small adjustment or quick fix call it a day..

Yeah I am with you, no way I am pulling a flywheel at the beach. It might be different if you have to travel far to hit the water though, I am only 5 minutes away.
