What tools do you bring to the Beach?

I've come to the conclusion that regardless of how many tools I lug with me, im always missing something!

I agree with this. Looks like I will have to add electrical tape, wire strippers, DMM, torque wrench and a spark plug wrench.

Didn't really see it mentioned, but a first aid kit may not be a bad idea to pack with your gear. Alcohol (for the pain), super glue, wraps, tape, etc.

I started working on my ski out of my "beach toolbox" when in the garage just to see what I was missing. Ending up adding lots of things to it over the past couple years.

I do all of my wrenching at home with the tools I take on the road (so I don't wrench out of a massive tool chest that has everything). This way I know what tools I require for each specific task and can eliminate unwanted tools.

Having said that, my road tool collection is, ahem, "comprehensive". I also carry all the tools required to fix any issues on the trailer as well as other 'ski's. I have a Pelican case in which to carry all my spares. Spares themselves are each stored in their own dedicated storage container which are all bundled into the big case.

Having been involved in motorsports for over 35 years has taught me you can never have enough spares and the tools to install themo_O
