Anyone that wants APEX Side entry Nylon vests, I can do 55$ shipped. Shipping is pretty expensive bc of the size of the vest. After 2 different sellers backed out of the sales, it looks like my new vest is finally on it's way. I actually found a Black/Gray Surge Neo in Large and am really hoping that's what actually shows up. I still really want another Switch Molded but I will have to wait for another model year before they produce something in a color I actually want to own.

Vest showed up today and i am quite happy with it.
The Surge Neo is almost half the weight of the previous generation neoprene vests and fits great. It's also very soft and pliable. For $75 shipped, I like it!

I ended up with jettribe rs16. Awesome! High impact speed rating feels bullet proof with good mobility. I like the straps on shoulders in case u need to be pulled. They also make a neck brace that hooks to it and many of other vests. Love that thing too. Their equipment is high quality made for us!

What vest are you wearing and how do you like it?
I just picked up a Jet Pilot Apex, but I don't like the fit. I'm short and stocky with a nice beer belly. I'm roughly 5'8" and 205 pounds. I normally wear XL shirts, and got the L/XL size Apex hoping it would fit better than the $20 crap I picked up last year when I just started. The Apex doesn't fit well. Seems bulky, and seems to struggle to fit around my girth. If I cinch the straps tight, the bottom still flares out a bit, plus it seems quite short. If I was in the water, it would probably go right up over my head.
Is there hope for riders like me? Is there a vest out there that fits decently and will stay on properly when I'm in the water?
