The vin number inside the engine section will tell year . Looks like a 2013 .

I had looked at this too and had questions...it looks legit but couldn’t find another one with the same decals. Buddy of mine said these are fs1/2 decals which is why the x looks funny.

Those aren’t OEM Rickter graphics. Does it have a HIN number on the inside? Post some more pics.

No Quebec is not close to there...this is from the neck of the woods where Rick Roy lives in Montreal area so wouldn’t surprise me if this is a very early Xfs...ad says it’s 2012

Does not look like a knock off. Looks like an 11-13 with custom graphics. Notice all the Rickter and RRP stickers and badges that come factory.
or, maybe the fakers are getting really good!
have you asked him if it was real or not..? Seems like it’d be pretty easy to find out by talking to the seller about the history of it...

I know of others who have made Fickters, they just didn't sell them.
My '14 had the same "punch out box thingy" at front bottom of tray. Think it was for mid shaft bearing carrier insert. Doubt clones / copies got that detail. Graphics look '12 or '13 though.Guy has it registered so I assume it has a HIN. The ski is across the country so I can't look in person

Matthew something. I think I know the guy your talking about I bought my FS2 from him.
He's saying it's real and I trust him as much as you can trust a stranger I guess, I just wanted some expert opinions before I made a decision. Thanks for all the help!

It looks like a 1st version XFS to me, before the Thailand factory. It has enough key features like the tray turf and Rickter emblems that you can't buy separate, that I believe it's a real Rickter.

It is sad that because of Skibum, if an XFS comes up for sale that just looks different it is assumed to be a Fickter
