I know all of you guys must have an idea on what you're planning to learn next year! This season I finally started getting inverted and I can do some pretty gnarly stabs. Next year I plan on riding some lake michigan surf and hopefully taking stuff to the next level! Whether it be off of a vwake or surf, I am definitely hoping to flip my square.
Now that I'm not scared of getting inverted, I'm definitely ready to start learning rolls, and possibly starting to take a foot out or take a hand off the bars when doing stabs, etc.
I honestly think I want to learn 360 aerial spins more than anything, and I assume it's doable off of a boatwake. IMO it is one of those tricks that just looks awesome.
What about you guys?

I learned 360's off my own wake, kinda have flippies figured out, but need more work. So hoping to get the flippies down next year along with rolls. And really hoping to stay on the water more next year. Got too busy the second half of this season and haven't rode in the last 2 months. Need to get my priorities in line lol!

I learned aboit how amazing surf riding might be (rode 4' rollers withoit a lip in a shallow lake in a wind storm), got comfortable being locked onto my footholds, and made my nose stabs 10x better.

Next season I want to spend tons of time in salt and get flat water rolls at least 3/4th of the way around!

I finally learned how to ride surf this past saturday (12 footers on lake Michigan), and began to understand my stance, how to ride the dirty waves, did some 180s and nose stabs. Next year i plan to start progressing my tricks into some barrel rolls and aerial 360s (maybe a backflip??)

i learned a lot about good vs bad foot holds, that full throttle passes on a bob is not a good time, and that landing on ur head isnt the end of the world.

next years goal with a bigger engine is flips, rolls, and a 360. we will see what happens but it will be a fun summer for sure.

I learned you can have one very expensive ski in the garage, or a handful of nice other toys and still have a "nice" ski.

I didn't ride as much as I wanted to... again this year.

What I want to learn next year?

What it feels like to ride for 2+ hrs on a tank of premium fuel through 38's and still have a blast on the water.

I ditched a bike and 1 jetski to have a very expensive ski in the garage!

Getting on the water is the most important thing!

Chinpads aren't just for chins. I took the pole to the knee and have lost a month so far. I also lost a few months to a knee injury last year from letting my leg go sideways. Knee braces/pads for me from now on. If I'm only looking at 30 right now then I don't even want to imagine what 40 will be like.

I can finally turn going fast, on or off a wave...

Next year I hope I can learn how to nose stab. I did a few on an aftermarket hull this year. I need to convince myself I'm not going to be knocked out because I've had a few scares trying on some big waves but my mechanics of the motion were way off.

I'm dedicating 10 minutes of ride time per session to strict nose stab practice. I think what I need to do is actually lift the pole up to my chest once off the wave to keep my head from coming inches away from the front end of the chinpad.

Jace Forest...BRAP!
I learned a lot this year, Madonna flips, tail grab flips, nose grab flips, rolls both directions, 540s both directions, and I'm at about 75% on doing 720s

Next year I'll learn a big ol bag of new tricks, wish I could say now, but gotta wait till Havasu next year to see=)
