Whats a good durable glove?

I've had great luck with slippery vest's and wet suits but my Matix boots fell apart in like 4 rides and now my matrix gloves took a fast exit:banghead: I replaced the boots with asics wrestling shoes and they are holding up like a champ...Now the gloves??..?? Anybody got advice on a durable glove?

ive been rockin some joe rockets for a month and they have been good to me...and i have been riding quite a bit. For $25 ill use them...

I use motocross gloves and haven't had any problems with them (can't remember the brand though, but they were like $17/pair). I'll check tonight and let you know.

I know Yamaslut likes waterskiing gloves, and said they last forever.

I use ski gloves. cheep and they last a couple of seasons. I have had the same pair since I bought my asics. they are in about the same shape.

i like my walmart weight lifting gloves personally. $6.00 hey....atleast its not kmart.

The O'brien waterski gloves last very well for me so far. They have like 3 layers of leather across the palm, some have kevlar.
I hear the motocross gloves are much better than PWC gloves too.

I just bought no name ski gloves from the sporting good store. they work great!

I use Fox mx gloves. I've tried jetpilot & slippery and both seem to fall part faster than a good set of mx gloves.

I can't make a pair of gloves last more than about 3 months on average. MX gloves definitely have lasted longer than the slippery/jet pilot gloves though.

I have however found that throwing them in the wash has helped them last longer. I ride only surf, and the salt seems to eat them up faster.

mx gloves in these parts as nothing else will last more than 2-3 months...

the obrien waterski gloves are awesome too..especailly the ones with the 2" wriststrap as it really gives excellent wrist support..

i use my old pair of fox mx gloves. they work great.

when i was walking through walmart the other day i noticed they had waterskiing gloves that were really nice for like 9 bucks.

mechanics gloves work great. buy them a size to small . they need to fit real tight. when you get in the water they loosen up. if you bbuy the size that fits out of wate they suck int he water. they cost 20.00 at homedepot,advanced auto,auto zone, napa

I can't make anything last so I just quit wearing them all together. I can't imagine going back now. One less cost associated with ridin'.

I've tried about a dozen different kinds with similar results .
They all fall apart eventually but I have a pair of Body Glove's right now but Legdrag already destroyed his pair and he rides hard .

I had some Fox mechanics gloves that lasted a while and you can leave them on if you need to wrench quick on the beach :arms:
