Other Whats better - tight pole, or pole spring

NVJAY775

My home away from home.
I mainly do flatwater. No spring, but it's just tight enough to hold the pole up when I let go. So it still works awesome chasing boats etc... My last set up was spring with tightened bolt and it basically felt the same. But my last pole was standard length xmetal and now comp length. My vote for best spring is a kawi 750 sx spring. Works fine and makes plumbing breather tubes easier.

May not be your nuts loosening, but your bushings wearing. Happened on my old X-Metal. I kept it so tight, that they were constantly getting thinner.

I thought it was funny when we were making jokes about poles. Now you bring loose nuts and worn bushes. Were an image away from a google ban.

I may not be constructively contributing to this thread, but maybe I'm making some peoples day brighter. At the very least, it has been great for my like count. Haha.

Are the pole bushings made out of delrin? Is there a better material?
