650/X-2 Whats the best after-market exhaust?

I have a 650 conversion ski, with an engine that is ported for top-end.

I'd like to know which exhaust is best, for additional performance.

Kerker? West coast? Coffmans?

I have no idea what the difference is between them.

I'll be buying a new carb and jetting it for the appropriate exhaust. I just need to know which pipe would work best for my application.

Suggestions please?

Most people would say Factory pipe, then the Coffmans and then the rest of them (Westcoast, Butch, Mariner, PJS). I am asuming you aim for pipes intended for the 650?

I couldn't tell much of a difference between a modified stock 650sx exhaust and the Westcoast.

Will a Factory Pipe fit in a 550?

I read the website for the Factory pipe. They said you can dent it a little to make it fit, without affecting performance. lol

The 650 engine is kinda shoe-horned in there anyway, might as well cram the exhaust in there too.
