Surfriding What's up with the surf lately???

Or should I say what is up with no surf lately, this has been the flattest summer and fall here on the West Coast that I can remember. I was talking to a bud who lives in Florida yesterday and he says it's been unusually flat there also. I'm going into withdrawals here- this is messed up!

Here on lake erie it was the same thing. We had maybe two good days this year. We need wind to blow NE hard for at least (guestimating here) 6 hours to get swells that break big on our main ride spot.

There have been no major storms for fall surf. A few weak rainfall/low pressure systems from up north. We need alaska to provide some storms. It's a bummer for surf conditions and for precipitation levels/snow pack leaving our reservoirs and rivers dry.
