Super Jet Whats wrong with the stock throttle?

I like the feel of the stock throttle better, but switched to UMI after breaking a couple stockers.
Another advantage is easy install.

Here's the best reason: With the stocker, you're limited to an absolutely overpriced piece of chit throttle cable.
With an a/m throttle, you get a beefier, better, and 66% cheaper throttle cable.

I've been riding for a few years now and just bought my first AM throttle ONLY because I got all new steering and riser bars.... I don't think there's really any benefit other than looks. And maybe strength IF your finger is strong enough to break a stocker lol

Personally, I wanted a curved single finger throttle so I went with Thrust. Have to agree with everyone else as well, stock simply looks lame.

Only one I like more then stock is the thrust single finger.

Not only do I prefer stock yamaha, I put them on kawi's and trade out strait across aftermarket ones on yami's I buy.

If you get the chance Try the thrust single finger. Less of a reach then the stocker.
