Silver end pieces with silver tubes would be the only way to make it look good, otherwise it just looks unfinished.

Keep the black tubes.

If you get bored with black, find a local sign shop and buy a few feet of vinyl wrap in whatever color you want. No sense in replacing the tubes just to change color.
