I'm trying to test out a program I wrote last night. Too bad my test media isn't up to the task.

This is what I am trying to make.

We made a bunch of those for x mas ornaments on year. See if I can find a pic. Difficult to make even on 500k machine.

OCD you should buy some fixture plank or nylon stock for those projects. Wood is unstable.

I have an attic full of scrap wood that I am trying to use up so I figure using it for testing tool paths and feed rates is a noble cause. Once I get the program worked out, I will move on to better media.

It's more about the exercise than the product itself.

My buddy just bought out an entire shop of machines and everything. Wall to wall. Said there's 3 truck loads of plank there. We don't have any use right now I'll try and get you a few chunks and mail with the DVDs I still haven't burned

Finally got to play with my new toy. Made lots of chips today and many more to come. Not a bad view either

Hate to see summer go but this works for a little while....took the camera out to the country a little bit today but ready to do jetski pics when the Buffalo or Toronto or... backflip talent is ready. Warms up a bit next week so it could work out. El Nino could give us a milder winter and maybe even jetskiing right through like in 2012 WHEN the lakes did not freeze.

I'd say over 50% probably. An absolute ton of our repairs are for fuel related issues. Not many people properly store their equipment.

Well I guess that makes two groups that benefit from the ethanol mandate. Farmers and small engine repair shops.
