Other When is it to cold to ride?

I try to ride all the way to my birthday Dec 21st... But one year the forcast was 12ft waves with ICE Sheets... It was time to put the ski away till Daytona...

I usually apply the 80 degree rule. The water temp and air temp need to add up to 80 for me to ride.

I like this rule! Might drop it to 70 though... I'm from Ohio not Florida...
