when ridden my 91 sn stays with nose up...

k guys, need your help here, never owned a sn till now, only rode it twice, and both times, when i ride it seems like it just doesnt ride on a plane, like its a 440/550 with a huge fat guy on it, i mean its got a 701, riva red pipe, tdr water box, prop, top loader, ride plate, alum hand pole,

i just dont like that i have to have it like half throthle to have it on a plane, is there anyway to change how it ride, or do they all do that, i was told to maybe get a conversion handpole bracket and use a shorted rn pole so i would have to lean more forward

For freestyle nose up is good. if you have the stock pole then DEFINATELY get a shorter pole first or tuck the pole to your waist. If you want the nose down get a LONG AZZ ride plate and make sure it is propped propperly as well so it will plain out faster for you.

an SJ does handle better in a forward agressive riding style and most standups will. So the further you are forward the better it will handle and the quicker it will plain out.
Most guys here would say nose up is better and to D cut the ride plate, but you are obviously looking for more of a freeride ski than a freestyle ski so the oposite applies, longer plate / shorter pole and a nice 08' or newer OEM prop or a solas "I" or even a 12/17 scat swirl prop would help too.

i dont know what prop is even in it, bought it and owner didnt know what pitch, i can pull it out and check, i ride surf mainly, nothing like barrel roles and crap, jumping and stabbing, just dont like how nose is up like that, its got the r&d extended ride plate on it, im also 215lbs, not sure if that matters, lol

i got an alum hand pole on it now, can i get a stock one and have it chopped down or should i put a rn chopped one on,

i mean i always ride my x2 and have rode my boys sxr and i like how its rides, just something with this sn and the nose being up is killing me, lol

You can't chop a sn pole much, if any, because it won't fit in the hood channel.
