Why would they bother?
They don't even have a 148 out and that one at least fits into most hulls meant for 144's.
The 155 needs a bigger pump shoe and a hull specifically built for it (or heavily modded for it).
Just saying....that market isn't a big one and it has two players in it already.

The resources to have either 148 or 155 produced are all over. Just need an investor. The 155 Would be nice cause the wear rings are already available from Yamaha. The 148 would require either another casting or modifying the oem like skat sometimes does.

Well what do you guys think? A set back 155 vein section from Solas would be a hot seller I bet

I dont think it will happen from solas, the 144mm is their old octane pump reworked so costs to them were less to produce. Bigger pump market is smaller and also all SS weight is more of an issue for higher end flatwater setups.

I know where there is a 148 solas mag, 6 vein large hub gold series with prop, drive shaft, wear ring and a prop setup for 800cc motor
Complete pump minus the venturi nozzle and steering nozzle that is (uses any 155 style off sit downs) $900 shipped in US. It is currently in a Rev but will bolt up in an SJ just add 155 pump shoe from Thrust or X-scream. Instant 148 mag powa.
Knock 150$ off without prop. Also have a larger prop for 1000cc> if you prefer it.

I believe the larger pump market would increase if the cost were less. The solas 144 sections did really well sales wise

Solas could reduce weight and increase durability by simply boring the center to accept 6305 bearings. I think an inexpensive/commonly available 155-160 would expand their use greatly. Hull mfgs would likely make 155 inlets standard, as they should have always been. Everything in this sport must be widely available and "bold-on" compatible in order to become a buzzword that creates sales.
