There are a ton of Ebay sellers now that look like they are based in the USA and have USA seller all over their account and thumbnail items, but many of the sellers on ebay now are Chinese nationals living in China. The money from their sales go right back into the Chinese economy and not ours. They started out on eBay selling and shipping from China. Now many use Chinese owned warehouses all around the USA. Putting a American flag up or saying "USA" does not make them Americans!

So if your going to buy chinese made items off Ebay, click on the sellers name and see where he is based out of. If he is in China, it will say "USA seller based in China". If they are real Americans it will say "based in USA".

Since China subsidizes the cost of steel, machinery, and labor it is impossible to profitably make these kinds of products in the USA, but it is possible to give some retail sales back to US tax paying citizens and not to the Chinese. Please stop giving all of our money to the Chinese. They have enough.

An update! :)

Now they are hiding their home country where things get billed if you just click on their name.. Now you have to click on their feedback rating to see where their "base" is.

We as consumers hold the power to reduce/eliminate Chinese power! We are consciously removing all Chinese products from our purchasing behavior where there is an American produced counterpart. Yeah I get it, even those things will contain Chinese sourced parts, but we have to start somewhere.
It's amazing the amount of counterfeit crap for sale from China. Don't buy that @#$%.

Over the last several years I culled my tool collection of most of the Chinese/Taiwanese hand tools I had and replaced them with USA and German made tools. Some stuff from Japan also. Its really hard to find USA made hand tools, regardless of price. Its been a slow process but I am happy with what I have now. The key for me was buying gently used pre-owned from when stuff was still made in USA and also alot of internet research to make sure what I am buying was actually made here.
