That third dude Hassan is a beast. No hood back flip at the end. First year competing! He's a cool dude to talk to too. Was a good competition. I missed a few of the riders compete because of my computer messing up but glad I watched it. #AmetuerReally?

Iceman was saying something back to the other guy when tanner was riding. (Other announcer) "That water in Alaska is pretty cold" (iceman) "I think they call that snow" hahahahah

Vendor alley was much better today, way more displays out! Rode a few Rickter Edges, a 701 with a 155mm pump, wow! And a 10mm 1100, loved it, going to sell my FS2 and build one!
My wife and got to hang and ride with Taylor Curtis, Rick Roy, Hiro, Tanner Thomas, Chris Anyeski was beside us and he is rocking @hink120 handlepole btw!!! And Chris Fischetti came by on a old 550sx and rode the Rickters!
Earlier in the day I got to apologize to Scott Watkins for being sooo drunk 5 years ago at Heat ( he was so nice to me!) it was a great day for my wife and I, she loves those Rickter guys!

@badvinny How did the edge compare to the fs2? I've had fr2 and now an Evo. Heard the edge can be ridden at higher speeds and not break loose. Any truth to this?

Lots of truth to that. An edge will hold a turn or slash a wave as hard as you want it to. Much more nimble than a fs2. Fs2 is slightly more stable in a straight line at high speeds but that is to be expected since it's a much longer hull. The new sponson design on the 2016 edge probably helps that a little bit though. You are welcome to ride mine at Daytona/wavedaze.

It was rough and choppy out so I didn't get it wide open, but it felt alot like my Hybrid Evo with the tubbies. I will probably sell our Evo and get a new Edge, I loved both the 701 and the 1100 with tubbies, my wife loved it too. Rode a XFR with the sponsors, I still don't like them, just not my kind of ride, the Edge I felt so comfortable on in 30 seconds!

Nimble and stable describe it best, you ride an Edge with your eyes ahead of you, not looking down trying to maintain balance!
