Where do you buy your epoxy from?

Looks like I will need to order some. I'm curious as to where everyone bought their epoxy from. I need some by next week, and I don't really want to buy on the east coast because it will take longer.

Pm Brian at Thrust, he was telling me about a place out west that he buys from.

I use USComposite, but any good boat place should have westsystems

Us Composites is on the east coast.

I was thinking of using Aero Marine epoxy. Thats what i'm using now.

Ebay, I'm still working through the 3 gallons I bought a couple years ago. It was quite a bit cheaper than us composites and seems to wet out easier.

One and the same. Suva bought Aero Marine epoxy a couple years ago. I think that was after I bought a 3 gallon kit.
Works great, nice and thin, plenty strong.
And cheap.

I don't know about that.

Seems a couple years ago I got the 3 gallon kit for about $140ish shipped.

looks like I will be buying more of that stuff! Stupid question, but I am custom making footholds and I'm adding layers and layers of glass, do I need the one 1.5 gallon kit? Or would their 1 1/2 quart kit be sufficient enough?

Also try Jamestown Distributors... They have pretty good pricing also! Just remember u can't use epoxy with chop mat. The binder that holds the glass mat together will not dissolve in epoxy resin and will create a huge mess and total abortion!

System three resins inc. is located in Auburn, WA. I have been using their products for 20 years. They sell direct or through local dealers (like Jamestown distr.) check their site.
They also don't mind telling you that the chemicals have a shelf life.
