i know its going to be hard to follow, and i don't think i have a picture of it, but my father and i driller into the bottom of our poles just behind the steering stop nut and used a dremil to hone out a square hole on top of the pole (under the chin pad) and a round hole on the bottom side of the pole, we then seat it in there with hardware that came with the switch and thread the wires down the pole with all the rest of the wires and cables

I personally don't like the bar mounted switches. I have no need to turn it on and off all the time.
My bilges get turned on when I start riding, and they get turned off when I am done riding.

My switch has always been mounted in the tray.

I have mine in the tray, but somehow managed to break the knob off this weekend while riding. Never felt my foot hit it but the knob is gone. There goes a $30+ switch. Think I will just wire it straight in now.

I turn mine on and leave them on. I have had the handlebar mounts and dash mounts and prefer the simplicity of the dash mounts, (and the price tag).

There is no reason at all to selectively keep turning a bilge on and off. It's far easier, and smarter, to just turn it on when you drop the ski in the water and shut it off when you drop it back on the trailer after a day of riding.

I forget where I saw the picture but one person had theirs mounted in the start/stop switch. It was a clean looking setup.

That is an Augustaf mod I believe and pretty slick at that. TKNMW (Tanner) posted a pic of his in thread a week or so ago.

Here's one of my Surf Armor switches with an extended harness installed in my RRP pole...

Man once you get that Rule 1100GPH fully auto pump it is hard to even think about switches.

It has been super relaible and throws water out of a 1 1/8" jetworks bypass super fast!

5200 it down and forget it.

I have stock bars, so I have the stock platic cover. I am going to put it though the plastic cover on the left side. Tom21 tapped the turn plate and put an L-bracket in the spot I want mine since he doesn't have stock bars or the stock plastic.

I put mine here cuz I have a pole strap where my choke cable was

wow, you cut your hood, just to install a switch??? I'm guessing you don't have a good seal now?

I turn on my pumps when i start riding, and i leave them on till i'm done. I have my switch tie wrapped inside my engine compartment for now, until i do my turf, then it'll be in the dash, where the choke/primer is.
