Where do you mount your hood straps on an fx1

I was thinking of drilling and tapping my handle pole bracket where it's shown in the pic. Does anyone see an unforeseen issue with that that I'm not thinking of? Where do you guys mount yours

about an inch under where your thumb is pointing at fiberglass, is where i put mine

Yep , that's the best place to hook it up to. I used long rivets without any issues down the road....

I put mine on the vertical face of the fiber glass and used massive fender washers. Never had an issue.
