Surfriding Where should I chop my UMI pole?

Hello,

I went out riding for the first time a couple of weeks back and was having problems with purpoising.
I switched to my long ride plate and it got a lot better. But I am still having trouble keeping the nose down at times.
So I'm thinking it's my pole setup.
This is my first ski and it came with a UMI pole which measure 39" bolt to bolt.
I was thinking about having it chopped -2.5" and getting a rrp fat bar with a straight bar.
But I was wondering where would I have them chop the actual pole?

Thanks!

Before you start making changes ride her a few more times. You will figure out how to lean and control the throttle to get ride of the purposing.

I went riding two weekends with the long ride plate. To keep the nose down while accelerating i have to literally lean completely on my front foot while being on only my toes on my back foot with my chest touching the handlebar. At mid speed it's kind of ok but i'm still on my front foot only. With both feet in the rear footholds i'm kind of obligated to pull back since i'm sitting all the way back in the tray and the bars are pretty far back . I know bob's weren't meant to go fast. But it affects me while approaching a wake.

I'll be ordering an rrp fat bar system soon to replace the one I have. I'll get a straight bar and a riser so i have two options to play with. Thanks
