Where to buy buoys??

Walmart would probably warranty any burst ones..not sure if Wal-mart has any though. Just tell them your child was injured and they are lucky you don't sue them.
I have the Overton's ones. They are small, and when we get into deeper water my weights make them float really low and they basically disappear.

We used them on a small lake, actually and old catfish pond. No issues.
For deep water, you can set up a counter weight system, instead of tieing them to the bouy, run the rope through the hole and attach a counterweight to the end of the rope, it will keep the tension of the rope set. Or just allow plenty of slack so the weight is not trying to pull the bouy down.

i will agree on that. The green ones on a wavey day are near impossible to see.

Your suppose to use Yellow and Orange. Green would blend with the water!

The little buoys are in fact really hard to see. I use these exact buoys weekly and they have held up very well. Just don't run directly into them, although I know everyone has to bunny hop over one every now and then!

Just a FYI, the big 20" buoys work great but will not take a beating at all. We have killed about a dozen or so in 2 summers of practicing. They tear alot at the handles.

yeah, you can fill them with a bicycle pump with the needles.
Best bang for the buck.
If your carefull and do not hit them, you can over inflate them to make them larger, but you have to be carefull with them.

Charlie if you use one of the small carabiners thru the handle and tie another one to your rope instead of directly to the buoy you will have alot more survive the season. Plus it makes the buoys and the weights easily separated. The ones I leave blown up I hang by a bungee in the garage. The carabiners are 99 cents at Harbor Freight just picked up a few a this morning
