Have you considered an fx1? If you like the nimble feel of the 440 you might prefer one over a square nose and you should be able to get one in your price range.Last summer I got a good deal off CL, I picked it up within 30 min of it being posted.
I got my hands on a X2 with kn filter, 48mm carb, west coat intake, carbon fiber reeds, high comp head, full westcost exhaust (manifold, pipe, water box), rear dump exhaust, 3 intake grates, 3 ride plates, 3 extra carbs, stainless impeller, jetlyne nozzle and cone. plus all the stock parts.
I got it for only $200. When i was buying it from him probably 5 people called him.
I have a old race 440, but I want to get a newer and better hull for freestyle and dicking around. Its still a little early, but if i find a good deal, ill jump on it fo' sure.
But again thanks everyone for helping out, and ill make sure ill start getting involved with the community!
You hoarder.....I also live in Wisconsin and have a pretty big selection. Just north of Milwaukee
