Anyone know where to get a 2.5" id tapered to a 2.0" exhaust hose in about a 2 foot length? Trying to connect the PFP box to the stock SJ exhaust through hull pipe. Went to the local auto-parts store and they didn't have anything that would work. Just seeing if you guys order something specific or just order a 2.5" and compress/clamp down to 2" successfully without it blowing.

cut a 4" long section of the 2" hose and see if it will fill the void left insided the 2.5" hose where it meets the exhaust and then throw a gasket clamp over both pieces. I've used that trick in other applications. I've never owned a PFP though...there's got to be some remedy.

why not get the specific tapered hose(2.5 to 2.0) in about a a 5" length, then add an adapter piece and run the rest of the 19" in the 2.0 hose to the through hull tube?

This is plan B, but just curious if they made a long taper piece. Figured if they made a short adapter maybe they would have a long.

Interesting idea, My gut tells me its not so sure if that would hold up. Anyone else successful with this?

Yes, this works great. I have had other issues with exhaust leaks but these connections have always been perfect.
