Where to get printed wrap?

I want to get a wrap for my pole with my reg numbers and want it to match the rest of my ski.

Had one local shop quote me $475 for a 25 in x 18 in printed wrap installed, I promptly walked out.

Had another local shop give me good price but asked me to email him pictures and measurements even though I showed up with the ski for him to see. He promptly never got back to me.

Had a third local shop keep telling me he was going to get me a price and get back to me, countless emails, facebook messages and texts only to be told I'll get back to you.

Have had others just not reply.

I also have an entire ski I have been kicking around the idea of wrapping, but if it's gonna be this difficult to find someone to take my $$ I am about to say licorice it.

Anyone have experience and a solid recommendation on someone who can take my loose idea, design and print? I can handle install if that person is not geographically near me.

Email these people... I have had nothing but good results from them and the only time I talk to them on the phone is to pay my bill. They email me back quick, quick proofs, and they ship stuff right to me. Even though they are 30 min from me, some times its hard to get over there. You will not be disappointed. They make my Georgia jet pirate banners and my superfreak logos for the sides of my ski and reg numbers.

Thank you for the lead, but they also quoted me $4-600 and said they would need the ski.

Am I off base here? Does everyone feel that $500 for a 4 sqft of printed wrap is a good price?

I want my reg numbers on my pole, in the same font as the KRASH logo on my ski, I would also like thebackground to match. I basically want to cover the silver part of my pole, have my reg numbers and have it all match and look good.

I have heard of guys getting whole skis wrapped for $5-600 bucks and I just want 4 sqft to cover the silver

Maybe I am way off base, just sounds like a lot, and the even more frustrating part is the amount of people who just never get back to you/follow through. I have no problem installing myself, I just can't design for poop.

I like the Anodize Idea too...lots of colors they also put something on it first ,so you can make designs , like a honeycomb look ,with different colors..

Still on the hunt, sent out a couple more emails

full printed wraps for $320 here http://lg1designs.com/fp_jet_ski.htm

I get that they have templates already made, but still you are getting 5-6 times the sqft of wrap for a little more than half price of what I have been quoted

Mike at Lg1 did a blaster for me, The wrap cost in the $400s I believe. He already had the template but he did change a bunch of things for us.

The way I do it is I do the design. Which im a hack amateur at best. I muddle my way thru photoshop and illustrator, then send the design to my buddy over in Michigan who used to work for a sign shop. He pays the guy for the material and time and I go over and my buddy does the heavy lifting and I pay him for his trouble. Its just a fortunate position Im in but sign guys force me to do it this way. They are tough to deal with and small jobs dont appeal to them. Id say try to find somebody who is willing to whip up a design and try a sign outfit to do the print perhaps. Easier said than done. Id offer but my buddy is dealing with some life issues and I have no confidence in my design skills. I actually have a wrap done but cant get it installed right now and I dont know when that will happen.
