Hey folks,
n00b here, both to the ski world and also to this site. After looking around (including that handy-dandy auto search feature that pops up with a few similar topics as you begin typing your post...) on here for a thread that had sites to look for skis at, I couldn't find one, so I figured I'd ask. I'm from the south suburbs of Chicago, but are there any stand out sites that you guys use to look for your new/used skis? I've checked the basics (ie-ebay, craigslist), but I was wondering if there are better sites to look at. I was hoping to start pricing around now so that when I got the money for a ski, I'd know exactly what I was looking for. Any help is greatly appreciated.
Oh, and don't worry, I won't ask the ever-so-cliche "SJ or SXR?" question, as the search function yields plenty of responses.
Thanks for a VERY informative site and I will definitely be seeing many of you guys daily...on here, that is. And hopefully in person around the Chicago area/Black River/South Haven area when I finally get my ski!
Dave
