Freestyle Which ET Motor?

So it looks like i am going to get to pull the trigger on a new motor in the next few weeks. I have been doing some research and I think i am sold on the ET line. However, I am not sure which one to get, 967 or 1107.

I primarily chase boats on a river and stay in a 5 mile stretch, but with the motor upgrade i plan to work on my setup wake flatwater stuff a lot more. I am currently nosing in backflips on my setup wake with a 701. I usually have my pontoon boat out there with fuel staged so while ride time isn't huge issue, i would like at least an hour out of 5 gallons. 1.5 hours would be ideal.

For the moment the motor is just going in my existing setup as I am breaking the bank just for that.

It will get dropped into a -8.5 carbon superfreak badass w/

Bpipe
Dual 46 taper bored carbs
lightened flywheel
h20 torrent 148 setback mag w/ 9/15 hooker. I have a shop that can repitch this for free if needed.
MSD enhancer

I plan to run pump gas

Any feedback on the ride time you guys are getting or maybe what you might guess I would get with my setup would be greatly appreciated! Also, if someone has ridden both motors and could comment on the difference that would be great too.

Thanks guys!

I would go with the 967 in your case, best bang for the buck. Requires less maintenance overall but still makes fantastic power for flatwater as you add the key parts down the line. There are many dealers now, closest to me is josh at california freestyle

i have the 1107 get about 40 to 50 min out of 5 gallons with dasa 48 with 46s you should be little over hour but depends how hard you ride ! but with the freak i think you should be ok power wise with the 967
most likely you will need like a 12/17 or 13/18 in that range i would guess

Thanks for the feedback guys, sounds like the 967 is the way to go. Can always buy the 1020 kit if i feel the need for more power. How much harder does this hit compared to a limited 701? I want to be constantly giggling.

I rode my buddys rickter with the 967 this summer at the end of season. I rode it once. It almost hurt me I was so unprepared for the power difference. Its awesome.
