which flame arrestors for full spec 49's

will the prok multi fit filters fit on the full spec 49's? which ones are you guys using on these carbs? I have some very ugly k&n's on and I want to replace them.

Don't run a primer. Once you start a ski it should be good to go the rest of the day or even weekend.
Stick your hand over the carb furthest away from the tank til it starts and be done with it.

Ed installed the primer fittings on my FS. A typical primer "kit" does not work as there is no choke shaft the plug

hot products tornado flame arrestors work on my 49 full specs. Also, I use a contact solution squirt bottle with fuel in it. Works well

I have the primer kit on my FS49s and am not going to run a primer kit. Anybody know what those little fitting covers are called and where can I buy them?

I use rubber vacuum caps on the barbed fitting, is this what your referring to? If yes I'll have a look Tuesday and see if I have 2 extra

Those things are so small, I just let them be. If something could get sucked into there, it would be small enough to get sucked through a ProK anyways...

So I wouldn't be able to run a primer without sending carbs to full spec?
@JMew03 why shouldn't I run a primer? Carb signal?
To me its running more fuel line, adding more fittings, having to drill a hole in the ski to hold the bulb.
More areas for failure for air/fuel leaks. 9 times out of 10 I have to put fuel in the tank at the start of a weekend so whats another 10 seconds to use my hand to "choke" the carb.

its all in the hood seal and length breather tubes,proks have less restriction than most others,and still keep a small screw from going through your motor
