my favorite lately is loctite 380, rubber impregnated super glue, works excellent on hood seal to hull apps. Not cheap, but worth a try.

I got a ripped SN nose pad. I'm going to try applying a rubber patch to it and see how long it holds.
If it doesn't hold, I'm out 2 bucks. :shrug:
EDIT: it's rubber cement vs. contact cement.
