Which one is better

I can either get a 98
750sxi pro. pro with a custom paint job
It also has foot holes molded in and brand new hydro turf all the way after market intake grate1,600

Or a 1993 Yamaha super jet (blue) with New blowsion 0 degree Bars with Odi Rouge grips. also comes with stock bars without grips.
After Market prop (unknown, was on ski when I bought)
Bilge pump
New start/stop Switch
New stx9-bs Battery

What it needs:

Choke cable (I just pulled the hood off and used my finger if ever needed)
Gas door on nose piece is missing. (most sn superjets are missing this, effects nothing)
The turf is in usable condition but could use some new turf this winter.

1,600

Or a 1994 superjet (white) looks like it needs some turf and in decent condition 1,200

Help choosing what one and what I would need would've be greatly appreciated its going to be my first ski and I don't know that much.

94 looks to have a pretty crusty looking motor.

93 is much cleaner.

Either one of them have a 701? the 94 should have a 701.

Forget the SXI.

Don't run/fix the stock choke, run a plunger primer.

Removing choke plates messed with tuning.. According to supertune and my builder. Only reason I won't remove mine and put in a primer. Plus it's very rare I ever even have to use choke. My ski always starts up easy.

Your saying Chuckie said to keep the Choke............... Having a hard time believing that. The chocks disrupt your airflow. That is why you remove them. Nevermind........
I will find the thread. Removing choke plates reduces vacuum too. So you have to compensate with popoff change

I'm partial to the blue one. A 650 that runs is faster than a 701 that's always broken ;) the whole white ski seems like it hasn't been taken care of at all.

Fully agree. Plus in the winter, you could disassemble the motor, clearance the cases and install a 701 top end.

True that.. For your first ski you'll be fine for a bit anyways.
