I have both a riva dry pipe and a riva red pipe. What pipe would be better for the surf. As much low end as I could get. 62t/61x engine and a ada head 35cc domes

In my experience the red pipe made great power but was a pain in the a$$ to keep together. It has to be shimmed just right or it comes apart and even if it is shimmed right it comes apart and breaks the studs and burns the gasket. Never used the dry pipe but for the PITA factor I'd use it

Where was the red pipe coming apart from. Mine is from a blaster that I cut and welded straight. The manifold bolts to the rest

They come apart where the mani flange bolts to the chamber, Show us a pic of the dry pipe.

I think the dry pipe ALINED, SHIMMED and tuned correctly will run better and be less of a PITA.

Thanks man. Now thou think it would make better low end as well. Thats where I'm looking for it. Is it a riva dry pipe that I have because I have seen riva dry pipes that are a lot smaller

Well dry pipe it is. Any body know what type of pipe it is? I need to get the bracket to attach to the ADA Head ASAP!
looks just like mine...and mine is called a factory dry pipe...some call it a type4 dry...
