Which wetsuit?

I live in GA and I want to buy a wetsuit so that I can extend my riding season. What should I get? Full suit? John/jacket? Thanks for the help.

What water temp and temp will you be ridding in?

Shorty and a 4/3 semi dry for the windy cold front days is my set up. Plus hoodie, booties n neoprene gloves for cold days too.

Coldest water temp would prob be 65

A tour coat would also be a good idea for windy days.

I really like the John/Jacket combo. You wear both in the morning when it's cold, when it warms up I take the jacket off and wear the John. You can't do that with a full suit.

Get the jacket. If you can afford it get the jacket and tour coat. the jacket is designed to go with the wetsuit. A tour coat goes over everything (including your life vest) and keeps the wind off of you. The tour coat is a secondary item. I would say the jacket is required to go with the john.

Thats a good deal right there, it's what I wear in all conditions along with a tour coat when its really cold

damn i need warm water haha. i wear my 3/2 here in ny till water temps go into the 30's 3/2 2mm gloves n boots and helmet n ride surf for 3-4 hrs straight no issues.

a 3/2 long wet suit is great. very easy to move in and can be used all over the contry in warmer or cold water till the 30 deg marks then its quiting time or go to 5/4 or dry suit
