Who can MAKE me a steer cable? Frozen JETMATE steer cable is NLA

I have not removed the cable from my JM as of yet, hoping SBT might be able to help me out when I call them tomorrow... just looking for options. My steer cable is frozen and I'd like to get this thing on the water soon ish. It won't budge.

How was the quality on the trim cable? I have a half in ss tube just in case and a trim nozzle for CATS. Its tempting but I have read its not really worth it for most, what were your experiences with trim? Novelty or necessity?

Night and day better over the thrust trim cable and cost significantly less. Haven't had any issues with stretching. For the SJ I wouldn't use it unless you are wanting to flip smaller boat wakes.

My skill level and confidence would have to improve drastically for me to try a flip off of anything. Seems like it would be more of a hindrance for the time being for me. Now I need to figure out what to do with the third tube I installed in dancefloor lol.

measure your cable. I used one off a different model kawi. cable is a litttle longer but it will work

My ski guy said he ran into this issue a few years ago for a customer and he modified a Yamaha sit down cable to work. I will probably do that.
