Are you trying to have the actual coils rewired or the whole stator assembly?

well the stator in question had the wires cut on the outside of the box (even though I told the guy to pull the ebox apart and disconnect from the inside... idiot!).

so the stator coils are probably aright, but it needs a new length of wire. and the stator is pretty gunky... the flywheel cover was almost completely filled with water except for the very top 1" of the front area. So it is not too rusty, but just nasty. Water probably sat there for 6+ years.

Here are some pictures of the 62T stator I wired up using tinned marine wire with silicone coated fiberglass jackets and black 5200.

If you need some tinned wire or silicone fiberglass jackets let me know.

Dude, you do the cleanest work I have ever seen, on everything you post pictures of. Mind if I ask what you do for a living?

Do you know of some good directions on how to do this?, or if you posted a "how to" it would be very appreciated.

I'm rewiring a 62T stator right now and I'll post some instructions with pictures later.

Anyone with a solder iron, heat gun, small file, phillips screw driver, and electrical crimping tool can do the job.

John at Jetski solutions is a top notch guy. He does great work and has a fast turn around. Everything I have ever sent him, looked better than new when it returned.

hmmmmmmmmmm. I know somebody else that has had that happen to them.

John is hit or miss. His ADD level is off the charts. Makes Caker look like an angel.

2003 I picked up a few small odds and ends from him at a ride at Lanier. Few months later we are up there riding, he is there. "John, what do I owe you for the parts?" , Response: "dont worry about it". Cool. 6 months goes by and I get a not really nice PM "When are you going to send me $25.00 (somewhere around that number) for those parts?". From that point on, get a quote by email or PM and save it.

I believe there is a place called RM Stator. Go browse the really small print ads in a Dirt Bike or 4-Wheeler magazine. Those really small ads in the back that are all print, no graphics. There are usually places there that do stator work listed in those ads. Also try Ricky Stator, they rewound a 4-wheeler lighting stator for me once. Work looked good but i never used it and sold the quad...
