I ran hoses the exact same way to the rear of the hood. My bilge pump doesn't have to work nearly as much anymore.

What size hose are you that have done this running?
I bought some 1 1/4" corrugated sump hose tonight that looks about right.

I just tried my hood mod out yesterday and it worked great. I got the idea from slutthood. It seemed like it had more power, I'm guessing because of more air flow. Also 80% less water inside. ..... I just followed along and put my own touches. It was kind of messy but not hard. Cheap too.

I got my liner cut out last night using a rotozip. I have never done any fiberglass work so hope the rest of the mod goes well.

Like this little pic shows, run the tubes through the new hood liner up to the insire top of the hood.
