Contest the ticket, subpoena the officer to court, and ask him to explain exactly what you are in violation of.

Sounds like he made up some bs on the spot.

He may have wanted to look at your skis .... did he by chance say " Do they still make these "

that's correct, court house said those cans are not approved to transport fuel in. wish the yamaha store would have made that known before I spent 100 bucks on them.
