Freestyle Who has Dasa's new billet intake manifold?

I ordered my Dasa intake manifold the other day! Im pretty stoked. Has anyone ran one and noticed performance gains over R&D? The main reason I got it is because my Thrust filter adapters for the OEM air box does not fit with the angle of the R&D manifold.

SOLID BILLET LOVE :bananalama:

I think TwinTurboStang made a post not very long ago. I think the title was "Nicest part I've seen in a long time, Dasa!"

I've had a few and there great. I don't think that you will have a performance gain but billet is the shizzle!

Since you can't get the m16 reed cages anymore, the DASA intake with VF2's is Jetworks favourite combo and thats what I will be running on my 888 Jetworks motor

I'm moved by DASA power!
I'm caught on the fence I have a brand new boyeson intake for my new dasa motor, but I'm falling in love with the look of that dasa manifold! But looks are one thing and a motor that is rocking at it's full potential is another. Is it an upgrade from a boyeson intake and reeds from full spectrum?

The only thing I like about the Boyesen over the DASA is that the throttle cable is mounted to the lower part of the intake unlike the DASA which is mounted to the carb plate. So you have to remove the cable to take the carbs off with the DASA. Just the tuner in me. Either way they are super nice pieces. Oh and you have to use Allen Cap Screws with the DASA!

Both are so nice. I like how tight the Orings are on the DASA carb plate. They won't fall out when you putting the carbs back on in the hull when you are jetting.

It all depends who you talk to, but Jetworks and DASA don't like the boyeson's. They would tell you its an upgrade, but Xmetal would tell the boyesen is the best one you can buy

Optima just sent me one to try out on a Judge ported 8mm PV Dasa . Other than looking incredible , it is a big improvement over the riva I was running . Built in angled reed spacer and speed plate . Intakes on the Judge worked cases are epoxied and reed cages will not go in without spacer , so it's nice not having to deal with 2 gaskets and the spacer . Will take it for a pre Daytona test ride tomorrow .

Just finished installing dual carb manifold. Had to cut down my throttle shaft and remove the aluminum bar linking the Novis together. Also pay attention to the 4 studs supplied with manifold , as they have an Allen hex on one end . Pretty slick setup . Put it up on postal scale and was surprised to see that the Dasa is a half lb lighter than the cast riva . Also take off a couple oz for not needing spacer or linking bar .
