i dont know about yall but a weekend isnt enough time for me. i plan on coming down Tuesday morning to get some extra time in. hell, who know i might stay late too.. thought about donating my hand to the guys that have to shut down the event as well. anyone else coming early?

Funny I was going to start the same thread next week. I'll be there Thursday Jan 6th, the week before! Anyone want to do a dirtbike day? Think I'm gonna bring my bike.

Me and Martin33 will be there late Wed night/early Thur morning. Thats the plan for now. Might, slim chance, but maybe start driving Tue night and be there Wed late afternoon. Well see as we get closer.

shawn-nj, i sure wish i still had my bike, i would totally be down to hit the national forest up! i may be able to score my uncles 250r thou. ill get back with you on that. there is a track some where near st. Augustine i use to ride at too. i cant remember the name of it, i was just a kid.

Ocala looks REALLY cool to ride at. Sand and pines, just like Jerzey...lol A few other guys up here are bringing there bikes. Gonna atleast get one good ride day in. Need to try some FL singletrack!

ocala sucks now. when's the last time you went? they've pretty much shut it all down and have a 15 mile loop with a 25 mph speed limit...... that is not a joke.

i'll be at daytona thursday, but i only live 40 minutes away. and if you want to ride dirt bikes i'm down! there's a mx park that has trails and tracks in ocala. but it's got some serious trails. big rocks, huge climbs and drop offs.

ah man, its been atleast 5 years. thats saddens me that it went down hill. apalachicola national forest is where i ride now, it a really nice place to ride too but would be way out of the way if your coming from NJ. now i spend most of my time on 4k acres owned by friends and family. not to metion there are 900 miles of unpaved roads in my county lol and thats no joke.

Is Ocala shutdown if your plated? Looking at the trail maps on the national forest website, it looked like there was ALOT of trails/"roads"? What the name of the MX park with trails? Definetly down to check that out one day!

yeah, you are in the sticks! 4k acres? damn. my buddy has 180 he let me setup a little track on and i thought it was big haha.

it's called hardrock. by plated you mean street legal? that's the only way you'll get off the beaten path now. it's illegal to ride on number roads unless you're street legal. they've made walking trails that are hard to walk on number roads now to keep orv out.

Thanks for all the info. Ya my WRR is fully street legal. Thats the exact same way it works here, gotta be street legal if you want to ride anywhere thats not private. NJ state forests have the same stupid number roads and speed limits, but as long as you dont speed down any of the dirt roads wide enough for 2 cars you have nothing to worry about. But if Hardrock's got good trails, that sounds like where I want to be. As it gets closer, gonna pick a day the week before the freeride where surf looks the worst and check Hardrock out.
