Hot Rods cranks are good but their top end bearings are garbage. Replace with weisco top end bearings and you will be good.

Hot Rods says on the box "made in Taiwan"....needs to have Japan bearings such as Koyo Seiko or Nachi...someone know if Crankworks uses Japan bearings ? JJ what other damage besides cracked piston ?

OEM cranks are the best. Even better is having crankworks rebuild your OEM with Hotrods & crankwork bearings then have them true & weld pins.
I've heard horror stories about sbt & hotrod cranks in high RPM motors. They might be OK in a stocker.

I run SBT trued and welded and replace them every 2 seasons. I haven't blown one yet. I am sure Crankworks are better.

I have blown 3 stockers.

if its less than year that crank is still under warranty. If you don't want to run another maybe exchange it and sell it off to finance a different.

My god chap.

from the looks of it the chainsaw made your cylinder pretty much junk.

The cases are usable and repairable, possibly.

But damn, two days? That thing needs a bath.
