Who still cuts domes?

I have loose domes, I can stick a caliper on them and check.

But, basically as long as the domes are slightly bigger in diameter than whatever piston you're going to use, I don't see any reason why you can't use them.

Obviously they need to be the right dome size and profile and I would check squish clearance and whatnot.

Im not going to just slap it together, I plan on checking squish of course and I will be shooting for 45 thousandth. Its an unknown head from the early nineties, Its got some markings but I dont remember off the top of my head who made it. It takes a standard base gasket and I think is going to blow north of 200 on a 61x so it may be a good candidate for really high port timing like I plan on doing with a 62t cylinder. I want to say it was about 26cc without the base gasket when I measured it leading me to believe when I add the base gasket at 7cc I should be in the 33cc range/200psi if it is indeed a 701 head, which im almost sure it is.
