who to go to for porting?

Thats seen some salt for sure. Maybe thats a good one because it looks nothing like the ones I saw in Daytona. i remember a blue one in specific that was advertised in this forum and the pic was from Daytona a few years back.

Who cares who is doing data's port jobs. Im sure they have someone thats good or they wouldn't hire him. He doesn't have to be known in the forum community to know what he is doing. If i was Dan I would rather hire someone who isn't a jet skier.

Call/email them with your wants/needs and decide from there. Everyone will have an opinion but hearing it from the horses mouth should help you decide where to spend your money.

We also do port work here, and to the original PO, am local, and I will do YOUR cyl so as you do not get someone else's back.

I do not know if I have any customers that can attest here on the boards, but I can promise you my guy will do as good as any listed above....

I personally have never been comfortable trading my good cylinder for something unseen. Worn threads, salt water corrosion are my biggest concerns.

A local guy got one and he could not figure out why his 35 cc domes gave him 205 psi on a ported cylinder. The bright orange paint job was not able to hide the corrosion on the outside, I could imagine the inside.

Any company will port/bore/etc. and return your exact cylinder. We started having a core option due to customer demand. Many guys want a new top end or motor right away and do not want to wait.

A local guy got his cylinder from who? Definately not from JetManiac, we have never done an orange top end.

Our motors on display in Daytona are just displays. They are not real motors that are ever sold.
