yes you do. I ran dual carbs on my 61x 701 when i used that pipe. I used my dual 38's off my superjet. I ran the same jetting i used for a factory pipe.
I would think you need something like a 145 main and 120 low I think that is what factory pipe suggests for a single 44. I would check their installation guide for the exact numbers though. That will get you close then you can tune more from there.
